The venue hunt continues... It's Monday morning and this is how we roll! Ludo always gets a walk or a solid run around in the morning before we head off. Today is a bit special though because after work I'm heading down into central Bournemouth to check out the Palace Court Theatre. Doing a site visit there on two of their spaces and I'm meeting up with local promoters Southbound. Monday mornings I head to Aim Arts Academy at Aim Community where I'm the Music Marketing and Music Production teacher. Today we're doing some drum recording with a student who is making a sample pack. Here we are at the Palace Court Theatre it's a 1930s art Deco building currently owned by Arts University Bournemouth really cool space. I'm collaborating with the Arts University on my project and they're letting me use some of their rehearsal spaces and their equipment and I'm hoping to perform my show right here in the theatre. Here's some of the old posters from previous productions and then downstairs they also have an amazing space which they call the Club Room which has nice high ceilings at the front really good size would be really cool for a rave. So yeah we're seeing about using these spaces. Finished off with a rainy walk around Bournemouth checking out a few more venues.
